Barrydale: South Africa’s small town becoming an artists’ haven

Surrounded by hiking trails, mountain passes, hot springs and antique shops, Barrydale offers attractions beyond its art scene. For now, residents say the challenge is to welcome new artists and visitors without losing the qualities that drew them there in the first place.
